It is with crushing sadness that we share the death of Colin Albert Marma, 26, of Post, who left us on Walk 27. Brought into the world on November 3, 1997, at Vassar Emergency clinic in Poughkeepsie close by his twin sibling Quinn, Colin entered the world weighing under 3 pounds yet developed into a lively young fellow.
Brought up in Poughquag by his caring guardians, Kenneth Marma and Jeanne-Marie Fleming, Colin’s initial years were loaded up with experience and kinship with his siblings. A games lover, he succeeded in football, ball, and lacrosse at Arlington Secondary School, framing bonds that endured forever.
Colin’s process went on at SUNY Oneonta, where he turned into a pleased individual from the Beta Chi club, enhancing his existence with fellowships and encounters that molded his personality. Known for his profound love of nature, Colin was an enthusiastic explorer and snowboarder who discovered a sense of harmony and satisfaction in nature. Music was another energy; he adored both paying attention to and making tunes that reverberated with his smart, thoughtful nature.
Colin was a sharp onlooker of his general surroundings, continuously valuing life’s favors, especially the glow and backing of loved ones. His delicate soul and good nature had an enduring effect on each and every individual who had the honor of knowing him.
He is made due by his committed mother and stepfather, Jeanne-Marie Fleming and Roland Heitmann; his dad, Kenneth Marma, and stepmother, Lori White; his treasured maternal grandma, Dorothy Fleming; and his adored fatherly granddad, Albert Marma. Colin’s memory lives on through his siblings, Quinn and Dylan, and his stepsisters, Anna (Roberto Maldonado) and Coco Heitmann. He was likewise a caring uncle to his nephew, Anthony.
Colin participates in timeless rest his granddad, Edward Fleming; grandma, Carolyn Marma; auntie, Diane; and dear companion, Jon Velardo, whose recollections will be for the rest of time a piece of his heritage.
